About the organisation

Invercargill Repertory Society was formed 87 years ago, and has been located on its present site on Jed St since 2001.

The society has about 85 members.

Each year the society stages three major shows as well as a youth drama show.

 What the grant went towards

The ILT Foundation provided Invercargill Repertory Society with a grant of $10,000 towards its operating costs for 2019.

What the grant means to the organisation/community group

“The funding to help cover operating costs means any profits [made] from other activities can go towards our long term project…to extend Repertory House,” Invercargill Repertory Society treasurer James Horn said.

“We do appreciate these grants.”
