Responsible Gaming
Responsible Gaming
At ILT Foundation we value the wellbeing of our community. We operate locally and responsibly, and we’re committed to reducing harm from gambling. If you, a friend, or whānau member are worried about gambling, we’re here to support.
We take our responsibility under the Gambling (Harm Prevention and Minimisation) Amendment Regulations 2023 seriously and have a range of support options.
What we do to keep people safe
Pay a problem gambling levy to the Ministry of Health to contribute to the national harm prevention stategy
Our venue staff are regularly trained in identifying and responding to signs of gambling harm.
Use technology to support harm prevention and minimisation such as facial recognition in some venues.
Provide resources within venues and online to support anyone concerned about gambling harm.
We offer self exclusions and support people through the process – you can speak to a venue about this, or contact us (see contact us page).

We provide free counselling support for those impacted by gambling harm in our community. Please contact us and we can arrange this.
All support is treated with confidentiality. You can view our privacy statement here.
